GIFT Team – Growing in Faith Together

Our GIFT (Growing in Faith Together) Team is a group of children from Years 4, 5 and 6 who take an active role in leading the prayer life of our school. Each Thursday, the children lead a Celebration of the Word in small groups for two classes, helping their fellow pupils to listen, reflect and pray together. They also have opportunities to lead readings at school Masses. Members of the GIFT Team take part in a dedicated training and induction programme, led by Mrs Jordan and Father Raffaele, which helps them to develop the confidence, skills and understanding needed to lead worship reverently and effectively. Once they have completed their formation, the children are commissioned during a parish Mass by Father Raffaele, marking their special role in serving and leading our school community.

Our GIFT team have just selected 3 new members who will begin their training for their new role.
