Choir

Our School Choir

Our school choir is a wonderful opportunity for children to share their love of music and bring joy to others. Our talented singers regularly perform at special school and community events, as well as visiting local care homes to sing for residents. These visits are particularly special, as the children enjoy sharing songs, smiles and friendship with older members of our local community. Through singing together, the children develop confidence, teamwork and a sense of service, living out our school mission to care for others. We are incredibly proud of the joy and kindness our choir brings wherever they sing.

Membership of the Choir
Our choir is open to all children from Year 3 upwards who enjoy singing and are keen to be part of the group. There are no auditions – we simply ask that children are enthusiastic about singing and are able to attend both rehearsals each week. As our choir performs regularly in the local community, different groups of children are invited to take part in each visit, giving everyone the opportunity to perform and share their talents with others.

Choir Opportunities
Being part of our choir gives children many exciting opportunities to sing alongside other young people. These include performing at Young Voices, taking part in the Hampshire Choir Spectacular, and joining other singing opportunities with schools from across our local area and Hampshire. Through opportunities led by Hampshire Music Service, our children are able to meet other young singers, perform in larger ensembles and experience the joy of making music together.
